Booking Terms & Conditions (Simplified)
Please Read Before Booking
All bookings are made with Rockstar Adventures. These terms set out the agreement between you (“the Client”) and us (“the Company”). By booking a trip, you agree to these conditions on behalf of everyone in your group.
By booking, you confirm:
• You’ve read and accepted these terms.
• You’re over 18 and responsible for everyone included in the booking.
• You agree to us using your information for trip planning and safety.
• You’re financially responsible for the payment.
Insurance – Mandatory for All Travelers
You must have full travel insurance that covers:
• Medical expenses
• Evacuation (including search & rescue)
• Cancellation
• Personal belongings (loss, theft, or damage)
• All activities, including any considered risky or hazardous
You’ll need to show proof of insurance before departure. Without it, you may not be allowed to join the trip. We don’t check policies for adequacy — that’s your responsibility.
In emergencies, we may arrange rescue or medical help and charge you (or your insurer) for the costs involved.
Booking & Payments
Your booking is confirmed when:
1 You accept a trip proposal (verbally or in writing),
2 You pay the full amount,
3 We issue a booking confirmation.
All payments must be made in the correct currency, with all bank fees covered by you.
Prices are based on exchange rates at the time of proposal. We reserve the right to update prices before booking is confirmed and in the case of changes in government taxes or currency rates.
If additional costs arise during your trip (e.g., added services or purchases made on your behalf), you are responsible for paying them. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services.
Changes & Cancellations
By You:
If you need to change or cancel your trip, notify us in writing as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help but can’t guarantee we’ll be able to accommodate changes.
If you cancel, the following charges apply:
• 90+ days before trip: loss of deposit + any non-refundable costs
• 60–89 days: deposit + 30% of total trip + non-refundable costs
• 30–59 days: deposit + 60% of total trip + non-refundable costs
• Less than 30 days: 100% of trip cost (less any recoverable third-party costs)
Some arrangements may be non-refundable regardless of timing.
By Us:
If we need to make changes or cancel your trip due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., supplier changes), we’ll inform you and offer alternatives or a refund of what we can recover.
If cancellation is due to force majeure (see below), refunds may not be possible, and travel insurance should be used.
Force Majeure
We aren’t responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events outside our control (e.g., war, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions). In such cases, we will do our best, but cannot offer compensation.
Your Responsibilities
You understand that our adventures may include risks such as remote locations, physical exertion, and unpredictable conditions. By booking, you accept these risks and agree to:
• Follow the guidance of our team.
• Be flexible with changes to the itinerary.
• Disclose any medical conditions before the trip.
• Act responsibly and within the laws of the destination.
We may cancel your booking if we believe your health or behavior could pose a risk to you or others.
Passports, Visas, and Health
You are responsible for checking and meeting all travel, visa, and health requirements for your destination. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return.
Failure to comply with entry rules or health protocols is your responsibility. We won’t be liable for costs or losses resulting from this.
Excursions & Third-Party Providers
Any activities you book while on your trip that are not arranged by Rockstar Adventures are outside of our responsibility. We are not liable for their performance or safety.
We also work with third-party suppliers who operate under their own terms. These may limit their liability to you.
Complaints
If you have a problem during your trip, contact our team immediately. If not resolved, please write to us within 28 days after your trip ends, including your booking reference.
Legal Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can choose your local courts.
